Blacktown City has flexed its National Premier Leagues NSW Premiership credentials with their spectacular drubbing of Bonnyrigg White Eagles the stand out performance from Round 3.
After a draw and narrow win to open the season, Blacktown finally found top gear sending a warning to APIA Leichhardt Tigers ahead of their round 4 Good Friday clash.
It was another bad week for Manly United who slumped to their third straight defeat as their Championship defence continues its horror start.
APIA and Marconi were given a week off after their game at Marconi Stadium was postponed due to wet weather.

Wollongong Wolves produced a spirited comeback to down Sydney FC 2-1 at Lambert Park on a rain soaked Saturday evening.
Hassan Jalloh scored for the second week running to open the scoring for Sydney FC in the second half, only for Wolves to respond minutes later with a Ryan Elsom equaliser.
With shared points looming as a likely outcome Peter Simonoski then came off the bench for the visitors to grab a late winning goal and spark wild celebrations for the boys from the South Coast.
The result made it two wins from three for Wolves who remain undefeated after a bright start to their 2018 National Premier Leagues NSW campaign.
Hakoah Sydney City East 2 – Sutherland Sharks 2 at Hensley Athletic Field
Sutherland Sharks FC have delivered an extraordinary finish at Hensley Athletic Field to pull back two goals in added time to snatch an improbable 2-2 draw with Hakoah Sydney City East on Saturday night.
Mitchell Stamatellis broke the deadlock with 15 minutes remaining before Anthony Frangie doubled Hakoah’s lead from the spot as Sutherland saw Nicholas Littler sent from the field for a second yellow card.
The game was seemingly beyond the visitors, but Jacob Tratt grabbed what appeared to be little more than a consolation goal in injury time, before Nick Olsen completed the comeback with the final kick of the game.
Blacktown City FC 4 – Bonnyrigg White Eagles 0 at Lily Holmes Stadium
A Charles Mendy hat trick helped Blacktown City secure back to back victories after hammering Bonnyrigg White Eagles 4-0 at Lily’s Football Centre on Saturday evening.
The former Peninsula Power attacker opened the scoring from the penalty spot early in the first half and clinched a second later on alongside fellow home debutant Devante Clut as Mark Crittenden’s side raced to a commanding 3-0 lead at half time.
Mendy sealed the treble after slotting home his second spot kick on the hour mark to cap an impressive home debut at Lily’s and consign the travelling White Eagles to a dismal defeat.
Sydney Olympic 2 – Manly United 1 at Belmore Sports Ground
Sydney Olympic have added to Manly United’s horror National Premier Leagues NSW Championship defence toppling the northern beaches side 2-1 at Belmore Sports Ground on Sunday.
Goals to Jason Madonis and Alejandro Sanchez in the opening 15 minutes had Olympic in control for the majority of the match before Brendan Cholakian gave the visitors fleeting hope with a converted penalty in the closing stages of the match.
The defeat was Manly’s third consecutive loss to start the season as Paul Dee’s side struggle to get back to the form which led them to the title in 2017.
For Olympic it was a return to form after defeat at APIA Leichhardt Tigers seven days earlier.
Rockdale City Suns FC – Sydney United 58 FC at Ilinden Sports Centre
Sydney United 58 has broken through for their first win of season clinging on for a 3-2 victory against Rockdale City Suns at Ilinden Sports Centre on Sunday.
Chris Payne’s 60th minute strike was the difference as United 58 fought back from two early goals to give new coach Jason Culina his first points in charge of a National Premier Leagues NSW outfit.
The visitors took the lead through Patrick Antelmi, only to trail through goals from Jordan Figon and Alec Urosevski before equalising in first-half stoppage time when Yianni Pertakis found the net.
Payne then thundered home the winner midway through the second period for United 58 as they ended their streak of back to back defeats.
